This is the privacy policy of Abattis Bioceuticals Corp.  (“Abattis”), and governs use of personal information by Abattis, whether such information is collected via our Sites, including, our online shop located at and (collectively, the “Sites”, each a “Site”)or otherwise, including through our services (the “Services”).

How We Collect and Use Personal Information

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the following terms will have the following meanings:

“Business Contact Information” means your business position, name or title, business address, business telephone number, business email address and business fax number.

“Personal Information” means information about an identifiable individual, but does not include Business Contact Information or general, statistical or aggregated information.  Personal Information includes a name, home address, date of birth, contact information (including personal telephone number and personal e-mail address), health and health care information, employment status, and income.

Providing Services, Sharing Information and Surveys

Your Personal Information may be collected and used by Abattis to provide services to you via our Sites or otherwise.  Your Personal Information may be used by Abattis so that we can share information about Abattis, the Sites, and our Services with you.  We may use your Personal Information to communicate with you regarding your inquiries for information, service requests or other issues as they relate to your use of the Sites and the Services, and based on your Personal Information, we may send you personalized promotions or offers.  We may also invite you to participate in online customer surveys.  If you choose to participate in such surveys, we may use the Personal Information that you may provide to contact you or to improve our Services.

Making Purchases

From time to time, we may offer interactive services which allow an Individual to share information with other Individuals on the Sites, such as message boards, user reviews, or similar functions. These features may permit a person to publish personal information about him or herself or about another person. By submitting such information, the person represents:

  • that the individual consents to its collection, retention, and public disclosure by us; and
  • that the individual has obtained the same consent from any other person whose Personal Information is being posted, as applicable.

Abattis does not monitor or moderate information submitted or posted by the users of the website and accepts no responsibility or liability for any content, including without limitation Personal Information, posted in this way.

If a person Individual believes that his or her Personal Information has been posted a third party without consent, that person should contact us at to notify us so that the complaint may be investigated, and the content removed if it is appropriate to do so.

Our Disclosure of Personal Information
Abattis may disclose Personal Information if a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena or court order legally requires or authorizes us to do so or to protect our rights.  We will use reasonable efforts to ensure that any third party to whom Personal Information is disclosed provide a comparable level of protection for your Personal Information, as provided in this Privacy Policy.

Additionally, Abattis reserves the right to disclose and to transfer Personal Information to a third party in the event of a proposed or actual purchase, sale, merger, amalgamation, or any other type of acquisition, disposition, or financing of all or any portion of Abattis or any of the assets or shares of Abattis, provided that the third party represents that it will continue to use the information for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, please expressly note that under the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (“ACMPR”) and other applicable laws, we may be required to disclose some or all of a person’s Personal Information to government officials, law enforcement personnel, the International Narcotics Control Board, or competent authorities of foreign governments. This information includes:
•    the person’s given name, surname, date of birth and gender;
•    contact information including the person’s mailing address, phone number, and email address, as applicable;
•    if applicable, the given name, surname, date of birth and gender of one or more persons who are responsible for the person, as well as contact information for such persons;
•    a valid prescription or other medical document issued by an authorized medical practitioner;
•    the given name, surname, professional status and address of the health care practitioner who issued a prescription or other medical document on behalf of the person;
•    if applicable, the consent of the health care practitioner to receive shipments on the person’s behalf; order details about the product sold or provided, including the quantity ordered; and the address to which the product is to be shipped.

Use or Disclosure for Research Purposes 

In order to improve its processes, products, and service offerings, Abattis may from time to time make use of aggregated and non-identifying information (“Aggregated Data”) for research purposes. Such purposes include, without limitation, better understanding the needs and wants of its customers and users. We may disclose such Aggregated Data, which will not personally identify any person, to its affiliates, agents, service providers and business partners for these purposes.

From time to time, we may request a person’s consent to use or disclose Personal Information for research purposes, such as (without limitation) information relating to that Individual’s use of medical marijuana. This may include, without limitation, invitations to complete surveys or participate in studies to be conducted by us or a third party. We will not use or disclose Personal Information for such research purposes without the person’s express consent, which may be withheld or denied without consequence to the person.

Retention of Personal Information
We routinely destroy Personal Information that is no longer required for the purposes described herein, in accordance with applicable laws.

Abattis takes reasonable steps to ensure that any Personal Information in our custody is accurate and up-to-date for the purposes for which the Personal Information is to be used by Abattis.  In most instances, we rely on users of the services to notify us of any changes to their Personal Information provided by them.

How We Protect Your Personal Information
Abattis uses reasonable and appropriate measures, including encryption software, designed to help you secure your Personal Information against accidental or unlawful loss, access or disclosure.  Only staff and service providers who have a legitimate business purpose for accessing the Personal Information collected by us are authorized to do so.  Unauthorized use of Personal Information by anyone affiliated with Abattis is prohibited and constitutes grounds for disciplinary action.

You and you alone are responsible for ensuring that you do not disclose your account access information to third parties.  This includes but is not limited to not disclosing such information to anyone, ensuring that sufficient security software is installed and running on your computer, smartphone or tablet, that your network firewall is of sufficient quality and that your wireless connection is encrypted to a degree that will prevent third party access.  Abattis is not responsible for any failure by you to secure your own device and its access to the Internet or your use of public, unsecured networks.
